BRITANNIA THEATRE.
Seven' finalists in First "National Pictures screen star test are appearing nightly m a series of screen tests at the Britannia Theatre. From the seven finalists appearing one will be found to compete in the Dominion finals at Auckland. The star picture is "Pals First,"- featuring Lloyd Hughes. It is a story ■of three tramps, a girl, and Cupid. The second feature is "The ' Isle of Retriai I? n> a Btory o£ tte fr°zen wastes of Alaska. This ■ unusual production crashes with bio; situations. Lillian Gish heads tho cast, which includes Robert Frazer and .Victor M'Lagan. The supporting programme is excellent. '
