MAORIS AT VANCOUVER

BEAT BRITISH COLUMBIA, 43-0

(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Beceived 7th February, 8 a.m.)

VANCOUVER, sth February. The Maori Bugby team beat an All British Columbia team by 43 points to nil.

Displaying more finesse than they exhibited in the first game at Vancouver, the Maoris concluded their visit in administering a real trimming by 43 points to nil. The New Zealanders were breaking through almost at will and, especially after half-time, Vancouver never had a chance, though in the last three minutes they brought the ball within five yards of the Maori line. The latter held, however, and from that position Pelham, Kingi, and Barclay started a run from line to line for the final try hy Barclay. This was very spectacular, the trio doubling back many times to elude Vancouver tacklers. Altogether the team made a wonderful use of attacking force Their brilliant passing electrified the crowd or 3000. Falwasser scored four tries Potaka two, Barclay two, Kingi, Olsen' Matene, Pelham, and Bobinfon one each. Matene and Eobinson converted one try each.
