THE ROYAL TOUR

WELLINGTON ARRIVAL TIME

Although arrangements are now well alvauced for the visit of Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of York, there are a few matters on which finality will have to be deferred until the Duke has an opportunity of approving the programme for the New Zealand tour. This cannot be done until the Renown arrives at Suva.

Their Royal Highnesses will arrive in Wellington from Napier, via the Wairarapa, at 5.23 p.m. on Saturday, oth March. The Wairarapa Toute has been chosen as the Royal Party will call at Masterton on their way to Wellington.

The stay in Wellington will be very brief, as the Duke and Duchess will leave by the Renown for Picton at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, 9th March.
