LONDON, -4th February. The National Joint Labour Council has telegraphed to Eugene Chen, expressing gratification at his assurance that their message had enabled a continuation of negotiations, which the Labour Party firmly "supports, and hopes-' that the parties concerned will mako possible a settlement.
