HUTT-RETONE BUS SERVICE
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—l would like to ask through the "Evening Post" the proprietors o£ the above service. if they consider the present stopping-places in Victoria street sufficient? There should certainly be a stop either at Alice or Valentine streets. I and others living at the south end o£ Moa street are in the habit o£ catching the bus at Valentine street or Alice street. If compelled to go via "Te Momi road, it will be more convenient to travel by train, especially on wet clays. I fancy many people living in Alice nnd Valentine streets, and to the east of this block, will rather remain indoors than walk to the present stopping places on wet days. There ib practically no sheltering place, and it is not unusual to have to wait five or ten minutes for a bus. —I.am, etc., SUGGESTION,
