BROKEN BYLAWS

Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with by Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., on Thursday.

John W. Baker and John Kelly were each fined £1 for driving in a manner dangerous to the public. For a similar offence, Ernest Dudley was fined £3.

The following were fined the amounts stated for speeding:—Cecil A. O. Jones, Reginald James Norris, Buzicott Rowden, £2 each; Frederick Justin Ness, Harold Clayton, £1 each.

For speeding over an intersection, Walter Arthur Cubitt was fined £2, and Arnold Lecky £1.

Failure to provide proper receptacles for pigs' swill cost Kenneth George £2. Alexander Gardiner was fined £2 for carrying pigs' swill in other than approved receptacles, and for failing to provide proper receptacles he was ordered to pay costs.
