BRITANNIA THEATRE.
Seven finalists in First National Pictures screen star test are appearing nightly in a series of screen tests at the Britannia Theatre. From the seven finalists appearing one will be found to compete in -tha Dominion finals at Auckland. The star picture is "Pals First," featuring Lloyd Hughes. It is a story of three tramps, a girl,' and Cupid. •' The second feature iB "The Isle of Retribution," a story of the frozen wastes of Alaska. This unusual production crashes with big situations. Lillian Gish heads the cast, which includes .Robert Frazer and Victor M'Lagan. The supporting programme is excellent. \
