PUSHING AUSTRALIAN BUTTER.

ilr. A. E. Hyland, who is conducting thij Australian butter campaign in Great Bi> tain, is quoted by the "Imperial.. Food Journal" as follows:—"Our butter is increasing in. favour. The percentage of the highest quality has grown to very largo dimensions, and we have yet to find people who have had our choice and firstgrade seeking for -other butters. The announcement, made on incontestable authority, that our butter is specially valuabls because of its abnormally high .vitamin content has appealed to buyers everywhere, especially at a time when so much attention is being given to dietetic principles. The effect of local inquiries h£s been added to by letters from far distant places overseas. We are. finding a place in markets that were previously, dominated by foreign interests. Notwithstanding adverse industrial conditions, ,jwi have had a creditable portion of whatever business has been going, and we have? no apprehensions concerning the future, because abundant evidence comes from everywhere of the continually growing determination of the peopli: of Great Britain and Ireland to support the industries of the Empire instead of giving such' liberal patronage to the foreigner, as has been the case in the past." •
