AUCKLAND, This Day. A Dargaville message states that the death took place at the residence of her son, Joe Tito (of Tangiteroria), yesterday morning, of Kere Tito, one of the; bestknown residents on the river. The deceased whose father was the boatbuilder, Robert M'Kenzie, who landed at Russell nearly 120 years ago, was born on 21st March, 1821, at Waiteraata, where the tamily still owns land purchased by the father. She' was therefore 105 years old. t>he had lived at Tangiteroria for over fifty years, and was quite active and retained .ill her faculties to the last. Her husband died some years ago. There are 138 living descendants. Her eldest son is 75 years of age.
