KING'S THEATRE.
One of the most alluring stories of the boutn Seas, a powerful drama of love, is the Paramount picture. "Aloma of the South Seas," which will he seen at the Kings Theatre, commencing to-night. Cjilda dray is the star, and in the cast are such well-known players as Percy Marmont, Warner Baxter, William Powell, Harry Morcy, and Julanno Johnstone.. Gilda. Grey is ono or the most famous exponents of dancing in the United States. It was she who was responsible for the introduction of the 'shimmy/ and now, not only the States, but the entire world, will be able to see her do her dance. "Aloma of the South Seas" is a warm, colourful love drama of the Tropics. Packed with wild dancing, strong dramatic punches, beautiful tropical scenery, and acting by a fine cast, it promises to be the film sensation of the year. Aloma is loved by the pearl diver, JSTuitane. Bob Holden, a dissolute young man, goes to the South Seas to forget his having been jilted by Sylvia, his society sweetstarts on the downward path untU Aloma, who is very much attracted to aim, shows him the right way to go. Then—Sylvia appears on the scene. An extensive supporting programme is to be coupled with popular incidental music as a further attraction.
