Takaishi won with,great ease. Time, smiu 55sec. 440 yds Breaststroke Championship.— Steadman (Victoria), 1; Hopkins (Victoria), 2; Stevens (West Australia), 3; Kelly (New South' Wales), i; Springfield (Queensland), 5. Won by forty yards. Time, 24mm 11 l-ssec.
