SYNOPSIS OF LAST 48 HOURS.
A westerly disturbance has been responsible for. strong and squally northerly to westerly winds, but the barometer rose on Sunday, and the winds changed to southerlle's for a short time. The weather has been warm and cloudy generally, with rain, in many parts, especially of the South Island and heavy in the mountains. ,
