CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING
The Wellington; provincial amateur athletic championships are to be decided at Athletic Park to-morrow week. It will be on form at this meeting that the Wellington team for the New Zealand championships will be chosen. E. G. Sutherland will be making his first appearance in local championship contests since his from South Africa and England, and E. A. Eose will also be in championship company' for the first time since his tour abroad. As the result of a scheme formulated by the Wellington Centre it is eipected that the country representation on this occasion will be stronger than ever. The closing date for entries for the provincial championships has been postponed until Monday. :
