BROKEN BYLAWS
Offences against the bylaws were dealt with in the Magistrate's Court yesterday by Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M. For dangerous driving, James Molloy was fined £3, and Arthur Sutherland was fined £2.
Speeding cost Albert Bowater, Duncan Forest Bauehop, Frederick Arthur Coffin, Ernest Allan Hoare, Alfred Graham Kennedy, ana Charles Stone »- each. Stone was fined a similar amount for a second offence of speeding, and Albert Edward Boberts was ined £1 for one offence. _ Stuart Archibald Criehton, and "William Jackson, who passed stationary tramcars, were each fined £1. A similar penalty was imposed on Mutton Richardson. Peacock and Norman Robert Trilford for cutting a corner. ,
For having no .lights, Noel Atmore, William Burgess, Lilian Gertrude Barnett, Claude Victor Crook, Stanley Gyles, Emil William Nelson, Charles George Prevost, and Paul Raphael fctampa were each fined 10s. Others fined were:—Frederick Arthur for not being in possession of a driver's license, £1; Huttort Richardson Peacock, for failing $o report an accident, &1- Arthul J a P m e s Morns, for failing to give infotk™T i° the P°i*V--*i; John Brooks Rex Mason, for causing his motor-car to travel further backwards than necessary, £1- William Alexander Matthews/for leaving Ms motor-car facing the wrong side of the street, 10s; Aubrey Sehloss, for leaving Ins motor-car unattended, 10s. Jack Kelly, who admitted failine to sound the horn of his motor-cycle was ordered to pay 7s costa. 7 '
