SALE OF PAHAUTANUI LAND.
Yesterday afternoon, at the Accountants Chambers, Wellington, Messrs Levm and Co., Ltd., in conjunction with Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd, submitted to auction six lots, comprising 1632 acres under instructions from the District Public Trustee in the estate ofj. ,Gray (deceased). There was a large attendance, attracted by the excellent qualrty of the land and its proximity to Wellington. Mr. R. P. Abraham wielded the hailimer, and the following sales were made:—Lot G: 76 acres 1 rood 28 perches, at £44 10s per acre, to Mr. E. M. KebbeJl, Pahautanui. Lot E: 32 of 33 perches to Mr. John Wright, Plimmerton, at £70 Lot F: 33 perches, to Miss Gray, Plimmerton, at £265. There are numerous inquiries for the unsold sections, and a total clearance during the next few days is expected by the auctioneers.
