.-.•' In his match with -Butcher, (lOst silb), Billy Grime (9st :OJlb) played, with his opponent in a sensational manner. His greatest admirers never expected the fight to finish so quickly. . Grime was small in comparison with the massive Butcher, and, weight considered, it did not appear a fair match. Butcher towered over his crouching op-1 ponent and drove several hard rights to the head. Grime swung a right to tho body and whipped it to the jaw. The crowd appreciated smart work in J the clinch. .'.-;. ,"■ ' • GRIME AGGRESSIVE.: Grime had the worst of the second round but landed to body and head. His evasiveness amused the crowd. In the third round the crowd roared when Grime ' held a stiff straight left against the face- of Butcher and whipped a right to the jaw. He repeated . this several times. In the fourth round, Butcher, coming in with a long left, Grime ducked and drove his right to tho solar plexus. Butcher sank to his kuees and fell on his face and rolled over in pain and was counted out. • Tommy M'Grath outpointed Al Brown (9st 81b) on a teachnical knockput in the seventh round.
