A NEW YEAR'S MESSAGE

A New. Year's address was delivered in Maranattia Hall, by the Rev. H. E. Wallis on "The Prophetic Outlook for the Year. 1927." In. the course of a vigorous message, Mr. Wallis said that an unsettled condition o£ the whole world ■was evident to the nipst casual observer, but' the student of Divine Revelation could see more deeply. Very serious times were ahead. A great complexity of influences was at work in every Und. Mea were hearing of pacts, treaties, alliances, desires for : empire;- secret-preparations for war, revolution assuming. world-wida proportions, and fearful speeding tip cf life. Youth was growing up -without a knowledge of those things that had been the foundation of stable life and government. Only the Divine explanation given to the world from the lips of God's owa Son really met the case. This age was ripe for Divine Judgment, and would be ended by the return of Christ in glory from His Father's right hand in Heaven.
