QUEEN'S THEATRE.

There commenced at to-day's matinee at the popular Queen's the special Christmas bill, which is now scheduled to run for one week. Matiucos are to bo hold at 2.30 daily, and there will be nightly showings, commencing at 8 p.m. "The Great Lovo," the principal attraction, is a MetroGoldwyn super comedy. Given an elephant and an idea, Marshall Neilan, the. famous director, has conceived something new and hilariously funny. The' fun is fast and furious throughout, and the thrills add the spice of danger. Viola Dana is very charming as the sweetheart of a jealous doctor, and Robert Agnew plays the part of the young doctor, a comedy role he handles with skill. They are supported by Zasu Pitts, Chester Conklin, Malcolm Waite, and Junior Coughlan. There is a splendid supporting programme during the week, with capita! music by the Queen's Orchestra. There is a matinee and evening performance on Christmas Day. The programme has been arranged to suit the limited tram service for that night.
