BUTTER PRICES RISING.

The butter trade Ib brisk, and a rise of prices has resulted In a speculative as well as a consumptive demand. The quantity of New Zealand stored butter Is being reduced steadily, and now numbers only 200,000 cases, Australian, choice, 170s, unsalted 1745. New Zealand controlled 1745, 178s; stored 1665, 170s. Danish firm, 184s, 185s. Cheese quiet. New Zealand 153, 965; Australian 925, 945.
