INGENIOUS STORY
MOTORIST, CAR, AND DOG,

CIIBISTCIIURCH, 6th Dec.
An ingenious excuse was put forward by a motorist who was charged with leaving his car standing at night without lights.' He said that ho had left a dog in the car and the animal must have switched off the lights when wagging its tail.
The Court refused to accept the story.
