SYDNEY, 24th November.
The Kcnltli in Sydney property prices was reached by tho sale, a day or two ago, of land in Market street, in the heart of the .city, at £2300 a-foot. It is claimed to bo a record price for land in Australia. The property is a little white-fronted shop, which stands like a wedge between one of the leading theatres and another building. The high price is accountable for by the fact that the acquisition of the properly is essential for the extension of! premises. It makes one wonder what a foot of land in the city will be bringing in, say, another decade.
