EIGHT HOURS CYCLING

CHRISTCHURCH, sth Dec. Eleven teams of two men each competed in an eight hours' cycling race at the Stadium on Saturday, and the results were:—Watson and Carey, 1; Mackie and Henderson, 2; Bright and Laskey, 3; Marshall and Scruise (Australia), 4. Seven teams finished.

Thcro were several minor accidents. Fitz Holland and Weir were admitted to hospital with slight concussion, but their 'injuries are not serious.
