BURNT WHILE OCCUPANTS ABSENT

"WHANGAREI, 6th December
A five-roomed house at Tikipunga, owned and occupied by Eric Rowland Hardy, was completely destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The occupants wore .absent at the time. Tho house is insured for i£DSO in the Standard Office, and the furniture for £250 in tho South British Office.
