The Department of Health has received the following notifications of 'infectious diseases in the following hospital districts of Hie Wellington Health District:—Tara-naki-Horowhenua: Scarlet fever, 2 (5) ; diphtheria, 5 (6); tuberculosis, 1 (1); pneumonia, 1 (2); puerperal fever, 1 (1); erysipelas, 0 (1) ; enteric fever, 0 (1). Waira-rapa-East Cape: Scarlet fever, 1 (3); diphtheria, 10 (4); enteric fever, 3 (5); tuberculosis, 1 (1); pneumonia, 1 (2); puerperal fever, 1 (o).' Central Wellington: Scarlet, fever, 10 (7); diphtheria, 2 (3); tuberculosis, 1 (2); pneumonia, 1 (0); lethargic encephalitis, 1 (0); puerperal fever, 2 (0); diphtheria, 1 (0).
