HOMELESS FAMILY
ESCAPE PROM BURNING HOUSE,
(By Telegraph.—Pross Association.) PUKEKOHE, This Day. About 10 o'clock on Saturday night a firo destroyed a six-roomed house at Tuakau, occupied by Mrs. G. Bakalich and family of eight young children. The father was absent nt tho time. The wife had great difficulty in csenping with tho family, who wero in night attire. The youngest child's foot was bnrued. The fnmily were lucky, us a ffivr minutes subsequent to their exit the building collapsed. They now are homeless and clothclcss, as all their effects worn lost.
