HOUSE MATCH
In a match played at Maidstone Park between Vacuum Oil Company and Schneideman's, the former team in the first innings scored 63 (Aitchison 17, Perston 11, Cleland 26) and in the. second innings 73 (Muir 2i; Cleland 23,. Aitchison . 17). Schneideman's first innings realised .62 (Currie 49), and the team scored 49 in the second innings (J. Kershaw 24). Bowling for Vacuum Oil' Company, Perston took eleven wickets for 24 runs, Muir two for 38, Cleland 6 for 32. For Schneideman's, J. Kershaw took two wickets for 36, Oliver 6 for 20, T. Kershaw four for 5, and 'Doherty 7 for 48.
