MIRAMAR PRIZES DISTRIBUTED
SEASON OFFICIALLY CLOSED,
The Miramar Golf Club's season officially closed on Saturday, when the year's prizes were presented by Mrs. L. _D. Hunt, the wife of the club captain. A large attendance attested the interest in the club. The president, Mr. A. E. Mabin, presided. Winners of the principal events during the year are:—Ladies' senior championship, Miss Petrie; runner-up, Miss Con way. Ladies' junior championship, Mrs. Dalgleish; runner-up, Miss yon Dadelszen. L.G.U. silver medal, Miss Taylor, L.G.U. bronze medal, Mrs. Dalgleish. Kirkcaldie Cup, Mrs. Banks, Holmes Cup, Miss Vivian -Upham. Wheeler Cup, Mrs. Banks. George Cup, Miss Wheeler.. Gray Cup (record score, 85), Miss 'Petrie. Torstonson Cup, Mrs. Maudsley. Men's senior championship, J. H. Drake; runner-up, L. D. Hurst. Men's junior championship, W. B. Taylor; runner-up, J. Ritchie. Captain's prize, F. H. Liddle and L., J. Egleton. . Doughty Memorial, J. L. Petley and M. Frost. Webb Memorial, for juniors, J. Ritchie. Prince o£ Wales Cup, J. H. Earlier in the afternoon a mixed foursome was played, resulting in a tie be- | tween Cramond and Mrs. Briton Smith, I and Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Ward,. each of } these players receiving a trophy.
