DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET.

The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received tho following advice from its London office, tinder date 3rd Instant:— "Butter: No" stocks; controlled, finest 106s per cwt, first grade ,164s per cwt,-stored 160s per cwt. Cheese: No stocks; controlled, finest 94s per cwt, first grade 93s per cwt." The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board advises having received the following advice from the London office of the board, dated London, 3rd December, 1926:—"Butter: New Zealand, finest, 1665, first grade 1645, stored 150s to 186s, according to arrival and condition. Market firm. Board sales, 4033 boxes. Australian, 100s, 1625, exceptional 1645,' stored 1525, 1545. Canadian, 1565, 158s; Argentine, 1445, 1503; Dutch,. 178s, 180s; Siberian, 1465, 150s; Danish, 182s. Retail prices advancing Monday, colonial Is 7d, Danish Is 9d. Cheese:. New Zealand, finest 945, first grade 935, white and coloured; ; Canadian, 925, 965, exceptional Ms, according to make. Market firm. Retail price, lid. Board sales, 12,954 crates." The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has also received the following advice from its agents la Canada:—"Butter: New York. 54 cents (2s 3d); market firm; Montreal, 38*>_ cents (U 7 .id)." The market is well supplied with ewes. Lamb Is In short supply and prices are nominal. Beef Is in short supply.
