LOAN PROPOSAL
IMPROVEMENTS TO RESERVES.
Councillor W. J. Thompson has given notice of his intention to move at the meeting of the City Council, on 16th December: "That stops be taken to submit to the ratepayers the question of raising a loan^of £51,000 for the following work:—Nairn villc Park, Ngaio, aud Khandallah, formation, and dressing sheds, £6000; Wakefield Park and Golf links, combined golf pavilion and dressing sheds, £4300; Prince of Wales Park, dressing .hed, £1200; Nairn Street Reserve, dressing shed, £1200; Anderson Park Extension, £4400; Seaside Park, Island Bay, £1000; purchase of land at Kaiwarra, £3000; purchase of land at Miramar, £3000; tepid swimming baths, £12,000; Basin Reserve improvements, £4700; Keith Izard Park, dressing shed and conveniences,, £1200; Lyall. Bay Reserve, dressing shed and conveniences, £2500; play area, Vogeltown, £500; Western Park, formation and dressing shed, £5000; asphalt basketball courts, £1000; total, £51,000.
