ACCOUNTANT'S DEATH

(By Telegraph.) ! (Special to "The Evening Port.") CHRISTCHURCH, 2nd December. Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., Coroner, held an inquest to-day concerning the death of James Adair Hall, aged 46 years, accountant for the New Zealand Fanners' Co-operative Association at Hawarden, who was found dead yesterday. A typist stated that Hall was in his usual spirits when she arrived at the office. Two months ago he showed her some strychnine in „ tobacco box, saying that he intended to poison the rabbits at his home in Christchurch. Dr. Miller, of Waikari, made a postmortem examination, but as the evidence of one witness has still to be taken in Christchurch, the Coroner was unable to give his verdict. Hall was a married man with four children.
