BLACK AND WHITE CABS, LTD.

The annual general meeting of tho Black and White Cabs, Ltd., was hold this week at the Accountants' Chambers. There was a large attendance, forty-seven in all. The chairman, Mr. R. W. M'Villy, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, referred to the satisfactory position attained by the company in Us first seven months of operation; commencing with a small fleet of only 20 cabs, increasing to a present number of 32, with n further 18 In Immediate pros-' pect. The satisfactory profit disclosed in tho accounts presented to the meeting enabled tho directors to recommend the payment of a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum.
