Barometer—Unsteady. Seas—Heavy southward of Castlepoint; rough Tides—High southward of Castlepoint; good northwards;' moderate elsewhere. Warning signals for southerly gales are exhibited at Castlepoint, Cape Campbell, and Nugget Point. , ... Weath-ir—Cloudy' to overcast at times, with scattered showers in most parts of the country; but sqnally, with heavy showers, in the Kasfc Coast districts. A very cold night generally. . , D. C. A garden fete will be held in the infants' school grounds, Muritai, to-morrow, at 2.30 p.m. The proceeds are in aid of the Muritai school fund.
