The above plan shows the general lay-out as proposed by the Wellington Show Association on the ground recently granted to them for show and other purposes, providing the necessary legislation is passed. The plan is subject to such alterations as the survey makes necessary. The racing track will be slightly altered in shape from that shown on the plan, asid the corners made easier. This will be a banked cinder track. The grounds and track will be lit by electricity for night meetings. Hutcheson road will run with an easy sweeping grade round the front of the Bhow buildings. The ground in front of the building will be laid out in lawns and flower beds. These and the general beautiflcation of the grounds will be under tile direction of Mr. M'Kenaie, Director of Parks and Reserves. The floor of the building will be kept free from all structures wherever possible, and will make * wonderful tosipor playing area for winter and wet weatter.
