MONDAY'S WOOL SALE

Wet weather, and consequent shearing delays, will probably reduce the quantity of wool available for the second 'Wellington wool sale, to be held on Monday. The limit fixed by the Wool Committee for December, January, and February sales is 27,000 bales, but if (as seems likely) the quantity availablo on Monday will bo less than 20,000 bales, the wool not available then will have to bo worked in at later sales. A forecast of the quantity ready for the Monday sale is about 19,000 bales. . . ■" ' ■ Later details show that at the moment the approximate quantities to be submitted are:—Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Asociation, 1250 bales; Messrs. Abraham and Williams and Wright, .Stephenson, and Co., 2650; Messrs. Dalgety and f C6., 3400; Messrs. -Murray, .Roberts, and Co., and Johnsljii and Co., 3000; Messrs. Levin and Co., 5300; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., 2200; New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Co., 1850; total, 19,650 bales.
