PERSONAL, MATTERS
The Attorney-General and Minister of Justi.ce and Defence (the Hon. F. J. Bolleston) will return to-morrow night from Napier and Hastings. Mr. H. Atmore, M.P., arrived from Nelson yesterday, and will remain in Wellington until the end of the week. Mri E. A. Tanner, assistant secretary of the Wellington vJhorai Union, is returning from Sydney by the Tahiti. The Hon. J; Barr, M.L.C., of Canterbury, arrived in Wellington from the.. North yesterday. Mr. Barr was one of the New Zealand representatives at the recent Empire Parliamentary Congress in Australia. - Among the arrivals at Auckland by tha Mahana . from London yesterday was Dr. H. M. Munro, of Palmerston North, who is returning after five years' medical service in England, where he gained a fellowship at the Eoyal College of Surgeons.
