i .Pour charges, involving theft and forgery, wore preferred against John Hamilton, aged 43, in the Magistrate's Court this morning. He was charged with stealing £50 3s Id and £42 19s lOd from the Farmers' Co-operative Association, where he wos employed as a clerk, lie was also charged with forging endorsements on a cheque with respect to each amount. On the application of the police he ; was remanded for a week.
