The Manawatu Boxing Association has matched Purdy and Trowern for a fifteen rounds contest on the evening of Boxing Day for a stake of £150. As Les Murray's claim to the lightweight title expires on 22nd December tho association is taking- the necessary steps to havo the contest carry tho championship.
