PETONE SITTING.
The fortnightly meeting of the Petone Magistrate's Court was held yesterday, before Messrs. H. Coles and G. T. London. \ On a charge of driving a motor-cycle along Jackson street at an excessive speed, Lloyd \VJiite was fined £2. 1 Leaving his car without lights after dark cost J. M. Pearson ss. Chas.. Watson and B. E. Fleet were each fined 10s for riding bicycles without lights. Driving a motor-lorry over a footpath without first protecting it with planking cost W. G. Webster £1. For exceeding the speed limit on the Hvitt road, B. Blake, R. K. Brace, D. G. Hill, W. M'Donald, W. M. Paterson, and A. A. Stichbury were each fined £2, and J. Scoringe, G. Bristed, and L. Gardner were each fined £1. For trespassing on the railway lines the following were each fined 10s: F. J. Ayros, E. C. Ballinger, J. O. Billings, L. C. Binning,' H. W. Corbett, C. Cording, R. M. Curtis, H. E. Hewett, M. S. Jensen, P. A O'Rourke, G. Owen, F. Pulse, M. R. Reid, E. S. Ulyatt, M. Wall, H. Weibourne, W. H. Anderson, J. E. Brown, R. E. Butt, M. Hale, P. Jenkins, L. Martin, W. Rodgers, H. Rollinson, J. Scott, G. F. Scaly, S. Walker. .
