HISTORIC SCOTS CHURCH
FINAL SERVICES HELD.
(Received 29th' Novenibeiy 1.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The final services at" tlio historic Scots Church, Church Hill, which is being demolished to make way for the City Railway, were held yesterday. The church was founded by Dr. John Dunmore Lang, and the first service was held in July, 1826. Amongst prominent Presbyterians from far and near who were present was the daughter of Dr. Lang arid representatives of the other four ministers who, during the: century,: have served the church. AVhilo the service was in progress the University Scouts Regimental Band assembled outside and played the "Colin Campbell Lament." '" '■ ■
