FUNERAL OF KRASSIN

ASHES GOING TO MOSCOW.

LONDON, 27th November,

In a coffin resting on a red pall, surrounded by four black-robed and redribboned . guards of honour—two men and two girls—the late M. Krassin lay in state in the reception hall, which is draped, in black and red, at Chesham House, the headquarters of the Soviet Embassy. Later, M. Krassin's funeral was made the occasion of an imposing Communist demonstration to Goldcrs Green Cemetery. Five thousand formed iv procession, wearing red favours. The service at the crematorium comprised Bulogia music. The, ashes were taken to the Embassy for burial under the walls of the Kremlin. Thirty motors left the Embassy for Golders Green, the chief mourners riding in a magnificent Rolls-Royce, with a red-flagged bonnet. The coffin was covered with a red pall.
