SOUTH WELLINGTON SCHOOL
At the monthly meeting of the South Wellington School Committee, the headmaster (Mr. Thomas) stated that the attendance was 715, an average of 92 per cunt. The chairman and Mr. Bcdingfield reported that their interview with the Minister of Education in connection with the subsidy for the playground improvement scheme had "had favourable results. A motion was carried thanking the Ssoutti Wellington Social Club for its interest m the welfare of the school and for its donation of £15 to the playground improvement scheme, tins being their second donation within the last three months.
