KHANDALLAH FLOWER SHOW

The Onslow Horticultural and Beautifying Society's summer show waß opened by the Mayor (Mr. C. J. B. Norwood) in the Khandallah Hall on Saturday. A sale of work was held in conjunction with the show, in aid of the local Presbyterian Church. Mr. Peter Porteous won the first prize and championship in roses. Four firsts in other rose classes were gained by R. M. Porteous, and two seconds by F. K. Porteous. The winners iv the other sections were:—Pansies: W. Bull, 1; Rona Brooker, 2.
