PLUNKET CHRISTMAS PARTY

Many thousands of people in Wellington will remember the wonderfully enjoyable afternoons that the Plunket Society has provided for the last two years at their annual Christmas party. This happy afternoon for children takes place next Saturday afternoon in the Town Hall. This event is organised by the Wellington Committee annually to raise money for current expenses, and the society makes this afternoon its one publio appeal to those parents iv Wellington and its miburbs whom it has helped. This year the chief feature of the afternoon will be "children's community" singing, held for the first time in Wellington. Well-known nursery rhymes will be sung under the direction of Messrs. Albert Russell and W. T. Mason. ' This will be something to remember. Enjoyable items by, the well-known artists, Miss. Helen Gardner and Miss Kathleen O'Brien will also be given, in addition to the many attractive and artistic novelties provided by the clever fingers of the .committee members and.their friends. Gallery scat's can be reserved at The Bristol.- ■ -
