MOTORING ACCIDENT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PUKEKOHE, 12th November.
An accident occurred at Suicide Point, Hunua Gorge, near Papakura, just before noon to day* to a party in a car containing Mr. J. N. Anderson, assistant engineer for the Franklin County, Pukekohe; Mr. V. R. Soper, a carrier, of Papakura; Mr. Cliff Ross, a farmer, and Mr. Vales. They were inspecting the huge slip in the gorge when the vehicle turned round for some unaccountable reason, and precipitate.l over the treacherous cliff. Mr. Soper suffered an injury to his back. The others had a miraculous escape, suffering cuts and bruises. The car was badly damaged. ..........
