CAMBRIDGE TERRACE LAND
COMPENSATION AWARDED.
The case in which Anthony Harper claimed £20,000 from the Minister of Public Works as compensation for 61 feet of frontage to Cambridge terrace, taken by the Crown for the purpose of building, a new post office, was concluded in the Supreme: Court yesterday afternoon. After hearing evidence brought by the Crown in respect of land values in Courtenay place and Cambridge terrace, the Court adjourned, and'on resuming an hour and three-quarters later awarded the claimant £15,500. The assessors were awarded £10 10s a day, and the respondent . was ordered to pay the claimant £150 costs. .
Mr. T. Hislop appeared for the claimant and Mr. A. Currie for the respondent.
