DAIRY CONTROL
-AUSING ANXIETY IN ENGLAND,
(By Telegraph.)
(Special to "The Evening Post.")
AUCKLAND, This Day
The setting up of tho Dairy Produce Control Board in New Zealand has aroused very keen interest in England, said Mr. A. V. Alexander (a Labour member of the British Parliamentary delegation). The present movement in New Zealand is being very closely followed. Ido not say that a case cannot be made out for the Now Zealand farmers, but tho whole matter is associated With some peculiar difficulties.
If New Zealand's object is to improve and maintain the grade of primary products, well and good, butif tho trend proves in the direction of price •fixation and the regulation of exports, then some serious difficulties, which might not at tho moment bo properly appreciated iv this outpost of the Empire, might arise. In the case of those who deal with New Zealand's primary products, tho policy of the Control Board is causing some anxiety.''
