AUSTRALIA'S EXPORTS.
(United Pros? Association. —Copyright.) LONDON, 11th September.
Some, years ago fair quantites of Australian bacon came to London, and thero were prospects of a good trade being established, but for some reason the shipments ceased. Interest in Australian bacon has been revived by the roccnt arrival of several hundred side* of Cumberland cuts from Queensland and New South Wales. These greatly pleased tho importers, the quality and dressing being alike excellent, as shown by the price realised, 112s per cwt. One importer Eays: "I can do with much larger quantities of bacon like this, as it compares favourably with Canadian and Danish, I would like regular supplies."
