OLD BOYS' MATCH
At Athletic Park on Saturday St. Patrick's College Old Boys defeated Wellington College Old Boys by 25 points to 12. After a try for Wellington by Cumerford, St. Patrick's showed great dash in the remainder of the spell,, and for a period completely outplayed their rivals. Tries were scored by Smith (2), Riddel], and Evenson. Humphries converted two „and Day kicked a penalty goal. Just before half-time Bydder scored for Wellington, making the scores St. Patrick's 20, Wellington 0. PJay was more even in the second half, with Wellington doing most of the attacking. For them tries were scored by Rees and Taylor, making the final scores: St. Patrick's 20, Wellington 12.
