LEAGUE PLAYER BADLY HURT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 12th Sept. • A League footballer, A. Matthews, aged 23, residing at Devonport, was injured while playing in a match yesterday. He was taken to the hospital, where it was found he was suffering from concussion, and it is possible there may be a fracture of the base of the skull.
