ISSUE OF VALUELESS CHEQUES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMEESTON N., This Day.
At tho Police Court, -Robert '-Forbes Eeid, a station manager, pleaded guilty to nino charges of obtaining goods by issuing valueless cheques. On a tenth he was remanded to appear iv Wanganui.
Detcctive-Sergcant Quirku said that tho total amount for which the cheques were issued was £210 10s.
The accused was committed to the Suprome Court at Wellington for seutence.
